Between the beginning of the Japanese house scene and the temporary soundtrack of console games, Suichi Trada was a magnet for naive electronic music as it breaks through the mid-1980s
A collection of his early works on the soundtrack of “Sounds of the Far East”, Atara for the sound of Trada – a mix of New York’s Deep House of the 1990s, sound from Japanese clubs, bits from hip-hop and avant-garde electronics such as Yellow Magic Orchestra – And brought him wide recognition in the West, including touring between Tokyo and LA
