Essa roda foi inspirada pelo Samba do Fred ~ The
Hoda (Roda or “Samba Circle” in Portuguese) is a traditional Afro-Brazilian custom, an informal celebration where a group of musicians and commentators gather around a large table for a session Of eating, drinking and playing samba and all the participants around join in singing and dancing.
At the end of the election day, such a table, an escapist Brazilian bastard, opens with nine musicians and players coming to celebrate and lift the soul! ~
** There is no lead singer, everyone sings together and everyone who knows the samba is invited to join in the singing **
In this samba circle the musicians will pay homage to, among other things, lesser known samba songs, rare pearls from the 30s to 70s of the 20th century. It’s possible and desirable to get ready with this playlist >>
