The Piyut Festival in Tel Aviv marks the ninth year. This is the only festival of its kind in the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo, which makes the Hebrew language accessible and encourages familiarity with the giants of Jewish spirit, poetry and culture.
This year’s festival is marked by the testimony of Israel. In which ancient piyutim and melodies from Morocco, Ethiopia, Yemen, Ashkenaz and contemporary Israeli work.
The festival breathes new life into ancient piyyutim, innovative arrangements and combinations of artists and styles. Thus, we are privileged to connect with previous groups through the generations and to recognize the beauty and uniqueness of traditions, in the complete fabric of the Jewish people.
