PARADISE LOST at the 30th anniversary show for the ICON album
There aren’t many albums that shaped the sound of the 90s like ICON, as its name is: iconic and timeless and known as the one who turned Paradise Lost into a huge metal band, a band that people mentioned as the next name after Metallica/Megadeth/Slayer/Sepultura, a band that upgraded the style that founded, for a band that left behind a long trail of huge influence on millions of metalheads in the world and thousands of bands that to this day are looking to reproduce this sound and writing. Now, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of this huge album – the band is coming to Tel Aviv for a special and festive show where the album will be performed in its entirety + a selection of the band’s metal hits of all time (The Last Time, Eternal, As I Die and many more).
The album ICON came out after Paradise Lost reached the peak in the world of Death/Doom Metal with the second and third albums Gothic (1991) and Shades Of God (1992) and temporary metal songs such as As I Die, Pity The Sadness, Gothic and Eternal, but it was ICON who introduced them to every metal house in the world.
