On the occasion of the publication of the new book, Policing Citizens by Prof. Guy Ben-Porat and Dr. Pani Yuval, and following the recent events, we will hold an open panel on the issue of police relations and minorities in Israel.

Police violence against young Ethiopian immigrants and crime and the growing violence in Arab communities are two different aspects of unequal policing of minority groups. What degree of trust do different groups in Israel give to the police and what is the connection between policing and citizenship and equality?
