Open House Tel Aviv (In Hebrew: Batim MeBifnim) is a once a year special weekend festival showcasing architecture, interior design, and landscape gardening in Tel Aviv. Free admission to all events, most of them without registration
We are excited and delighted for homes from inside Tel Aviv-Jaffa 2019. Together we will celebrate 100 years of founding a Bauhaus school that greatly influenced Tel Aviv, as well as the launch of a pet home – The White City Center – White City Center . Special emphasis will be placed on tours and buildings that reveal the international style known as Bauhaus, Tel Aviv and Jaffa.
Open House is an urban event that takes place over one long weekend (Thursday morning through Saturday) during which dozens of buildings are opened for visits, tours and discussions: private houses, public buildings and government, prayer houses and special gardens, all – FREE!
The purpose of the event is to shed light on the built environment and encourage civic engagement on a topic that affects our lives.
The event in collaboration with Liebling – White City Center – an Israeli-German project that seeks to discuss the values of modern architecture and the White City as a world heritage site, while expanding the discourse on conservation and urbanism. The center will open at 29 Idelson Street Tel Aviv-Jaffa on September 19, 2019 and will be a new cultural center in the Bialik complex.
