The Israeli Shorella Ensemble is proud and excited to host the Brazilian mandolin singer and player Niliz Carbeliu for her first concert in Israel! The traditional Brazilian bull, which preceded the Samba and Bossa Nova, is a meeting point between classical virtuosic melodies and Afro-Brazilian rhythms. The group has already hosted top-ranked Brazilian artists, in addition to Israelis, and from 2010 has also toured Brazil. Nelzi Carvalho, who began to play and sing at the age of five and has 15 albums and countless performances around the world, combines her style with Samba and Shuro, and in her homeland she was named the “Samba Singer of the Year” (2010). In their joint appearance, the members of Shurula and Carbillio will combine pieces of Shuro alongside Samba songs and familiar Brazilian classics.
