In the last few years Japanese culture is making a comeback in Israel. Many Japanese restaurants are opening up, and Japan has become a popular destination among Israelis. All these and more make a large affect also on the Israeli art and design world.

In order to welcome the spring, and the Japanese cherry blossom season, we will conduct a design and art event, which presents the cultural encounter of Japanese and Israeli culture. The event will host Israeli artists and designers that create through this prism of curiosity, inspiration and combination of both cultures.

The event will take place at “The Cuckoo’s Nest”, a home for culture, art and culinary, situated in a special space in Jaffa’s flea market.
