Come join the Niggen Quartet for an intimate two-entrance night at the Kerem Garden! We’ll be having an early show and a late show, and inaugurating the Kerem Garden’s Jazz and World music salon lineup.
To follow guidelines, we’ll be performing two consecutive shows (with two different sets) for an intimate audience of *20 people each.*
Reservation + 50 NIS recommended contribution in advance over BIT. (If you’d like to attend both sets…..we love you too! please BIT and reserve for both sets.)

🎼 Niggen is an original jazz ensemble that creates new Hasidic Jewish music.
Within Hasidism, the “niggen” (melody) is a tool used to awaken the soul toward spiritual reflection. The melody is believed to have a power to rid man of the mundane, day-to-day dust, and elevate him unto higher states of connection with the creator and all of creation. There are melodies that bring the soul to joy and those that bring it to longing. There are melodies evoking heroism and those evoking inner peace.
The Niggen Quartet translates these traditional Hasidic melodies into original jazz compositions.
