Arénas Show has been Chosen by Columbus Music Magazine as best show for 2019: ״Neta Elkayam’s performance last July was everything that is good about music – a deep connection to tradition alongside innovative musical production; a voice performance just like Elkayam knows, backed by two great musicians and a brilliant producer; while stacked with emotion the show itself is tight and tickled. This performance is a new musical direction that Neta and the band have been marching on lately. They replaced the acoustic-traditional sound of Moroccan music with songs of tribal-repetitive character and electronic production. This in my opinion was a breakthrough not only in Elkayam’s career, but also in the approach to creating and performing Moroccan-Jewish music in 2019; And therefore deserves the title of “Show of the year”.
