2020, The year of the “virus”, changed our entire perception and forced us to face a new reality.
After the world has closed its doors and took our beloved galleries away from us, all that’s left to do was to find digital and virtual alternatives to satisfy our artistic souls. Roni began to create collages using moving stickers, which she believes are the next generation of collages and digital art.
Using eclectic, intense, and colorful images, she creates a portrait of a new reality—full of century’s contrasts, infused with anxieties, density, abundance and emptiness.
These days, when our lives are finally back to normal and with COVID constantly trying to make its way back in, it’s time for gifs to embark out of the screens into reality with videos, manual collages, and installations that will adorn the entire space and discuss the lives in and out of screens.
Roni Artzi is an artist and graphic designer that focuses on the connection between digital and realistic.

שנת 2020, שנת ה״נגיף״, לימדה ושינתה את התפיסה שלנו והכריחה אותנו להתמודד עם מציאות חדשה.
כשהגלריות והחיים סגורים והאלטרנטיבות המוצעות הן העולם הדיגיטלי-וירטואלי, החלה רוני ביצירת קולאז׳ים המורכבים מגיפים (סטיקרים זזים), הדור הבא של עולם הקולאז׳ים ואומנות דיגיטלית-אינטרנטית.
באמצעות דימויים אקלקטים, עמוסים וצבעוניים יוצרת תמונת מצב חדשה על המציאות מלאת הניגודים של התקופה, רוויות חרדות וגודש, שפע וריק.
בימים אלו, כשהחיים חזרו והקורונה נושפת בעורפם, הגיע זמנם של הגיפים לצאת מהמסך אל החיים האמיתיים, בצורת הקרנות וידיאו, קולאז׳ים ידניים, ומיצבים שיעטרו את חלל התערוכה וידונו ביציאה מהמסך וחזרה.
