On Monday 4/24, the eve of Memorial Day, we will gather for a special screening of the movie “My War Hero Uncle”. A delicate and special film that, with the help of a personal and touching story, succeeds in awakening the demons of the collective memory.
After the screening, we will host the film’s director, Shaked Goren, for a conversation.

After the screening, we will host Shaked Goren, the film’s director, for a conversation. He is a filmmaker – director and video editor. The winner of the directing award of the 2018 Jerusalem Festival for his film “My War Hero Uncle”.
Graduated from the Department of Cinema at Menasher College of Art.
Edited and directed documentaries and feature films screened at film festivals and broadcasters in Israel and around the world.
