After the extraordinary success of last year, the Italian Embassy in Israel and the Italian Institute of Culture in Tel Aviv return to celebrate the Italian Republic Day with Musica on The Beach, a great free musical event at sunset. one of the most evocative beaches of Tel Aviv. This year the Israeli public, that of our compatriots or tourists passing through Israel, will appreciate in a Mediterranean atmosphere of celebration and friendship, a truly fascinating jazz program.
Star of the evening, the Trio Doctor 3 by Danilo Rea (piano), Enzo Pietropaoli (double bass) and Fabrizio Sferra (drums), one of the best known and awarded groups of the Italian jazz scene, which will present with its own personal style an engaging path musical, between Italian song, standard and own compositions.
The concert will be opened by the overwhelming force of the Quintet of saxophones of the National Jazz Orchestra of Italian Conservatories under the direction of Maestro Riccardo Luppi, will propose in a swinging rhythm, accompanied by a magnificent female voice, a selection of the best jazz compositions of the years Sixty, arranged by the most talented young composers of the Milan Conservatory. The National Jazz Orchestra of Italian Conservatories is an educational project funded by the MIUR, in residence at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory of Music in Milan.
Afterwards, DJ Dana Keila will conclude the event with a set of Italian music, groove and electro swing dragging the audience to dance under the moon, booked for the occasion!
Musica on the beach is an initiative organized by the Italian Institute of Culture in Tel Aviv in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Israel. The project avails itself of the collaboration and support of the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Yafo, of the MIUR – Directorate General for students, the development and internationalization of higher education, of the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Milan, of the “Italia- Israel for Culture and the Arts “and the Lala Land Restaurant.
