The Memorial Day ceremony for the fallen and for life will be broadcasted live on April 13, the eve of Memorial Day, at 8 P.M. on the Facebook page of Shards.
On the eve of Memorial Day for the victims of the Israeli military and the victims of the hostilities, the Shards Association seeks to provide a platform for the stories of the fallen, along with those who returned from the war alive but different from those who went out to it. This year, the ceremony will be broadcast live from the Enav Culture Tender in collaboration with NATAL and the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality.
Among the speakers: m. 30 years old, served in the Navy and participated in special operations; Anat Yahalom, who was physically and mentally injured in the Yom Kippur War and was one of the founders of the Etgarim Association; Ayelet Partosh, whose father fought Mount Hermon during the Yom Kippur War and apparently suffered from post-trauma; Rami Yulzari, who has been dealing with post-trauma for about 40 years following the fighting in Lebanon, founded the “Running with Rami” running group.
During the event, artists Mika Karni, Ehud Banai, Ohev Givati and Jimbo Jay will sing.
The Shards Association has held ceremonies on the eve of Remembrance Day since 2014 in order to raise awareness of the social effects of the battle experiences. The ceremony seeks to provide a safe space for all those who wish to give freedom and presence to experiences and memories. Men and women of different ages and diverse backgrounds. Released from Gaza operations, combat supporters from Second Lebanon, reservists from the combat lineup, relatives of fighters or spouses of those diagnosed with post-trauma. What they all have in common is the burden of living with memories every day since the days of the battle.

טקס יום הזיכרון לנופלים ולחיים ישודר לייב ב-13.4, ערב יום הזיכרון, בשמונה בערב בעמוד הפייסבוק של רסיסים.
בערב יום הזיכרון לחללי מערכות ישראל ונפגעי פעולות האיבה עמותת רסיסים מבקשת לתת במה לסיפורי הנופלים, לצד אלה שחזרו מהמלחמה בחיים אך שונה מכפי שיצאו אליה. השנה הטקס ישודר לייב ממכרז ענב לתרבות בשיתוף פעולה עם נט״ל ועיריית תל אביב-יפו.
בין הדוברים: מ. בן 30, שירת בחיל הים והשתתף במבצעים מיוחדים; ענת יהלום, שנפגעה פיזית ונפשית במלחמת יום כיפור והייתה ממקימי עמותת ״אתגרים״; איילת פרטוש, שאביה לחם בחרמון במלחמת יום כיפור וכנראה סבל מפוסט טראומה; רמי יולזרי, מתמודד כ-40 שנים עם פוסט טראומה בעקבות אירועי לחימה שעבר בלבנון, הקים את קבוצת הריצה ״רצים עם רמי״.
במהלך האירוע ישירו האמנים מיקה קרני, אהוד בנאי, אוהב גבעתי וג׳ימבו ג׳יי.
עמותת רסיסים מקיימת טקסים בערבי יום הזיכרון משנת 2014 במטרה להעלות מודעות להשפעות החברתיות של חוויות הקרב. הטקס מבקש להעניק מרחב בטוח לכל אלו המבקשים לתת דרור ונוכחות לחוויות ולזיכרונות. גברים ונשים בגילאים שונים ורקעים מגוונים. ממשוחררי מבצעי עזה, תומכות לחימה מלבנון השנייה, מילואימניקים מהמערך הלוחם, קרובי משפחה של לוחמים או בנות זוג של מי שאובחנו עם פוסט טראומה. המשותף לכולם הוא משא הזיכרון החי יום-יום מאז ימי הקרב.
