Dizzy Frishdon - Dizengoff 112, Tel Aviv,

The SDG Israel community is pleased to invite an event to mark the goals of Partnership 17.

Do you want to promote reality and social-environmental change? But what is the appropriate intervention point for maximum impact?
With the understanding that we can not continue as a company to work alone. There is a call to learn, to share and work together to improve society and the environment in Israel. But how do you do that? How do we combine forces with power multipliers that create change?

SDG – The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals are the 17 UN sustainable development goals that encompass our global challenges as a society and environment. SDG Israel is the stakeholder community of sustainable development goals of the United Nations. Global goals are the goals we need, as humanity, to realize together if we want to survive on the planet, and by 2030 we have to completely change the way we consume energy, have agriculture, manage water, talk to our neighbors and more.

In the world, Agenda 2030 is seen as the emerging paradigm of the 21st century, states, cities, businesses, foundations and more, using SDGs to define their goals, evaluate their performance, and promote broad cooperation.

Israel is lagging behind most of the countries that have begun efforts to implement the goals, but there seems to have been some progress in the government’s preparations to advance a number of goals.

In June 2018, the Israeli Prime Minister instructed the establishment of an inter-ministerial team to coordinate Israel’s work on the UN’s sustainable development goals and prepare to present Israel’s preparations in July 2019 at the UN. For the first time, Israel will present the assessment and preparations for implementing the goals at the UN General Assembly next July.

The need for a conceptual framework for the discourse that connects the agenda of organizations working to promote social change in various fields and enables them to work together for various social goals has led several organizations to promote the issue under Agenda 2030. The meeting will address Goal 17 – Partnership for Goals. In a global world of dramatic changes at a dizzying pace. The solution to many problems lies in the network of social, political, cultural and environmental interests and factors.
Today, it seems that gaps in language, perception, knowledge as well as lack of agreement on the principles of action make it difficult to reach agreed-upon systemic solutions, and even increase distrust and fear among the sectors.

We can not work alone anymore. Many are at our doorstep complex problems can not be solved by one area – so clean panel with representatives from the government sector, environmental and socio-long panel business segments:
Government
Investors Impact
Entrepreneurs
Civil Society and the Third Sector (representatives from Agenda 2030)
