Tony Melby, one of the greatest saxophonists of our time, comes to us with his new electric trio as part of a European tour. Joseph Dumulin will play with him on Fender Rhodes, keyboards and effects and Samuel Bar on the drums.

Over the past three decades, Melby has been leading the cast, album recorder and performing on every major stage in the world with the best of jazz musicians and improvised musicians (William Parker, Wadada Lowe Smith, Fred Hersh, Craig Tavorn, Angelica Sanchez, Chris Davis, Mario Pavon, Fred-Lunberg Holm, Ben Munder, Michael Atias, Gerald Culver, Chad Taylor, Neshit Waits, and many others, many others). In addition, Tony was a member of Charlie Hayden’s legendary Liberation Music Orchestra and Paul Moshe’s ensembles.
