Los Rumberos is a Mexican band that combines Latin rhythms, seasoned with various types of rumba and Cuban flavor. They explore genres that range from cumbias and boleros to huapangos, rock and urban. This contemporary sound makes their project suitable for any audience keen on pop music and eager to dance.

Their first original album bearing the name Vuelve a la Vida was released in 2014. Through this collection Los Rumberossuccessfully forged their characteristic sound and vibe that can be heard until this day.

Outstanding public performances include:

– Pal’ Norte ’17: a renowned rock festival in Monterrey, Mexico

– Elements Fuego ’16: a yearly event in Merida, Yucatán with more than 15k attendees.

– Cumbre Tajin ’13 and ’16: a cultural festival to celebrate Mexico’s heritage hosting +20k guests.

-Vive Latino ’14: one of Mexico’s top 5 music festivals.

– SXSW ’14: playing at the official Berklee College of Music party.

These and other shows have taken Los Rumberos to share the stage with: The Killers, Calvin Harris, J Balvin, Ziggy Marley, Juanes, Gente de Zona, Nine Inch Nails, Julieta Venegas, Pet Shop Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Mana, Placebo, Jarabe de Palo, Los Tigres del Norte, The Flaming Lips and many others.

Later on, the band performed alongside the world class guitarist Carlos Santana in Las Vegas, as part of a campaign launched by one of the world’s leading brewing companies, Corona. Santana joined them to play one of their original songs, A Rumbear, which was later released on all streaming platforms together with a live video on YouTube.
