For the first time in Israel: chamber music, poetry night, performance art, contemporary indie and electronic music, contemporary dance and film from Lithuania.

The multidisciplinary “Lithuanian Story” offers you a glimpse into the contemporary Lithuanian art scene and its leading artists. Among its events: a poetry evening dedicated to the previously unpublished poems of Leah Goldberg with participation of Lithuanian poets at Beit Bialik בית העיר; a whole day of chamber music at the international פליציה בלומנטל Felicja Blumental Music Festival, which will take place at Tel Aviv Museum of Art מוזיאון תל אביב לאמנות and will bring Lithuanian stars of classical music; the same museum will host in collaboration with The Artists Residence משכן האמנים הרצליה a performance night dedicated to one of the most successful Lithuanian contemporary performance and sound artists Lina Lapelytė; furthermore, Lithuanian contemporary music – indie and electronic – will be showcased in two consecutive events at TEDER.FM and Alphabet clubs; a very special screening of film “Animus Animalis: a Story about Animals, People, and Things” will take place at the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History during Docaviv דוקאביב festival; and finally, “Lithuanian Story” will end with a contemporary dance weekend at Suzanne Dellal Centre מרכז סוזן דלל for dance and theater.
