Zappa Tel Aviv - Raul Wallenberg 24, Tel Aviv, 100 NIS

After an exciting performance for the new album, Liraz and the talented band of musicians with whom they come together for an electrifying concert in Zappa Tel Aviv.

Key: Gal Oved / Drums: Roee Chen // More: Gershon Wisserfirer // Bass: Gilad Abro // Violin: Aviva Eliav

Born in Iran, she has absorbed Persian culture through folk music and inherited language from her childhood. But on one of her visits to Los Angeles in the course of her acting career, Liraz was exposed in the streets of Iranian immigrants to new musical works by opponents of the revolution:
Such as legendary singer Googoosh and famous singer Dariush, the same music that her parents could not hear following the revolution in Iran.

The connection between bits and Iranian works in the musical project is connected to Liraz’s burning desire to combine the traditional story of her parents with her current story. This is how the connection with producer Regoiser was created to give the complex composition the unique sound of the resonant L.A to that drive visit. For Liraz, these two extremes, the electronic sound and the classical sounds, describe her personal story and her family and the story of Iran moving between revolutions.

The NAZ album, which is also heard in Iran, contains original songs and captions that Liraz wrote and composed with Iranian artists. Like her personal story, the album also moves between melancholic sounds and fast rhythms and vibrates in an envelope of electronic samples and bites from Baye Riguiser. In short, a musical journey between Tehran and Tel Aviv – LA!
