LIFE AND DEATH ON THE DANCE FLOOR PRESENTS:

Pump Up The Volume – The History Of House Music.

This week we will screen the documentary tv series (3 episodes, 40 min each), made in 2001, about house music, from late 70’s funky NYC – to Warehouse club in Chicago to House music as a genre and to England raves and acid house. with interviews with all the biggest characters from that era such as Frankie Knuckles, A guy called Gerald, Marshall Jefferson and more.

This is a movie anyone who goes to clubs, DJ, ravers and anyone who makes electronic music must see.

At the end of the movie there will be open decks with full gear for the djs coming to the screening and the vibe will be house music.

The screening will be held in the pergamon club and there will be no cover.

Drinks from the outside are not allowed, there will be a bar with reduced prices.

LIFE AND DEATH ON THE DANCE FLOOR is a new film program at the pergamon where we will screen and watch films and tv series made about clubbing and dance floor oriented music
