second year student festival collaborates with fashion company RENUAR For an ongoing event that celebrates the connection between fashion and cinema.
This year, women spotlight the cultural and stylistic contexts, and the power of the fashion world and the film world to serve as a tool for expressing beauty, emotion and the endless search for self-identity.

12:00 – Screening of “Paris is Burning”
Jenny Livingston’s 1990 documentary featuring the glamorous world of drag culture in New York. The screening will be accompanied by a short introduction by Gil Naveh, a former dancer and journalist, currently a spokesperson for Amnesty International Israel. He has participated in the establishment and initiation of numerous drag projects in Israel and around the world.

14:30 – “The connection between fashion and cinema”
Dorin Frankfurt Dorin Frankfurt Frankfurt hosts Ged Ne’eman and Nissim Dayan and lectures on fashion moments, icons in the cinema and the special connection between the world of the worlds.
The lecture will be accompanied by Renoir projects, screening of film films produced especially for the festival and screening of films from the films of the directors.

17:00 – A tribute to the growing fashion designers and filmmaker Karl Lagerfeld
A lecture by the trend forecaster, Natalie Itzhakov, who will talk about the short films that Gelfeld created for the Chanel fashion house.
The lecture will be accompanied by two of his short films Once Upon a Time and Women Only.
