Gal Toren, the singer of the band Mercedes Band and one of the most busy actors on the screen in recent years , And Guy Levi, a composer, double bass player and creator of the projects “Songs for Amalia,” “Pan” and “Gesher” are also childhood friends who shared unforgettable moments at the age of 6 in the Jerusalem area.
Both come from different regions of the music world; Gal’s powerful rock n ‘roll as opposed to Guy’s jazz and groove, but the worlds met when the two joined forces in writing the soundtrack to the highly acclaimed “Uri Valla” series. The result – an album of new Israeli music, a harmonious Groovy journey into romance and the existential question.
