In light of the demand, the series of film screenings at Gan HaCisga also continues in July, this time with the best music films, in cooperation with the Third Ear, every Wednesday at 20:30
On 26 July La La Land – Damien Schassel’s third film (Wiplash) managed to bring the musical back to center stage. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, the hot stars of the time, were already showing boiling chemistry in “Foolish, Crazy, In Love,” and “Gangsters.” They play two young artists, a jazzist and an actress living in the City of Stars. Their careers are shuffling, but their dreams do not know a limit. They fall in love, but once professional life begins to take a course, ambitions may come at the expense of relationships. The film won 14 Oscars.
