Kothiman Orchestra arrives at a festive psychedelic performance at the theater club with the guest of honor – Barry Sakharof.
Here are some of the things that have
happened to Captain Kothiman in recent years: singles, albums, and projects that have featured a musical tune that begins with psychedelic funk and reaches the New Age and Ambient areas
Princess Show The documentary about the unique and emotional relationship, between Kutiman from Kibbutz Tze’elim and Samantha from New Orleans, became a Cold, won the Ophir Award for being the best Israeli documentary
Collages covering 50 years of Eurovision and presented in the official competition
. – Solo at the Tel Aviv Museum, which provided a better acquaintance with Kutiman’s ultra-active mind, an exhibition that also featured at the Museum of Jewish Art in San Francisco.
But the highlight, of course, is the orchestral performances, which look and sound like the most disturbed and full of groove and soul of Star Trek. The psychedelic experience begins physically in Israel and from there, together with the audience, takes off into space.
Kutiman Orchestra has long been not the secret of Israeli music, but the forefront of boldness, talent, expansion of musical and physical consciousness and probably Israel’s most challenging performing band.
