The show will be played by De Francesco and his band from the music played by De Francesco’s mentor, and father of the Hammond Organ in Modern Jazz – Jimmy Smith, along with saxophonist Stanley Tarantine on several immortal albums in Label Blue Notte, including Midnight Special, Back at the Chicken Shak and Prayer Meeting.
