The Ukrainian metal band Jinjer, the most well-known and successful Ukrainian musical group in the world today – returns to Israel for one show that will take place on October 6 at the B-Side club in Tel Aviv.
The band, which appears at some of the biggest rock and metal festivals in the world alongside huge bands such as Slipknot, Disturbed, Muse and many others, was forced to suspend its activities for about six months – since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, due to the regulations that did not allow men of legal age to leave the country, which did not allow most of the band members to leave the state The singer of the band, Tatiana Shmayluk was the only one who managed to leave the country when the war broke out.
The world media wrote extensively about the bassist and leader of the band Eugene Abdukhanov who did not see his wife and two small children during many months when they became refugees and ran away from the threat of the fighting.
A few months ago, the band members received a special permit from the Ukrainian government to leave the country and perform at some of the biggest rock and metal festivals in Europe, recognizing them as important ambassadors of Ukraine and its cultural world.
For the band’s last two performances in Israel, at the Reading 3 Club and the B-Side Club, all the tickets were sold.
