A diorama is a 3D model that presents the subject in a background that simulates its natural environment. Dioramas are designed to create a multi-level optical illusion and depth.

Late at night, a person wakes from a deep slumber. He stands up and begins as if in a dream, to fulfill his daily tasks.
The person belongs and does not belong anywhere and at any time. His body is closed between four walls and his consciousness echoes around him. Is the person designing the space, or is it the opposite? Every step and gesture leaves a mark in his world.

In the walk, they are getting closer to each other and to themselves, leaning and supporting one another, but also crossing each others borders. That journey is a constant search for the balance, and acceptance of each singularity, until becoming one.

Holding a nightly festival during a time when nightlife ceased to exist, where prohibition is ruling and fantasies are fading away, when everything is reconsidered except for the uncertainty itself. A new reality, which we do not know yet what it brings. Especially now I invite you to dive into the magic of the night, re-evaluate every moment we are out. Smell, taste, look, experience, observe and let traces of memory mix with the present. Allow yourselves to feel the passion of the human encounter and the dancing body.

‘From Jaffa to Agripas’ Festival is an annual contemporary dance festival which has been taking place in Machne Yehuda Market in Jerusalem, since 2014. The festival exhibits original dance performances in locations around the market, raising public discourse on human body culture in Jerusalem. The festival produced more than 60 original dance pieces which have been created by diverse artists. It creates a one-of-a-kind, local and unique experience in Jerusalem through events in alternative spaces (hotel rooms, galleries, bars and restaurants), video-dance events, Dinner & A Show, performances in the open air and many more…

Mahane Yehuda market creates daily friction between people from all sectors of the population. The constant tension in Jerusalem and the Israeli reality, makes the market a relevant, inspiring and fruitful artistic intervention space.

Movement, non-verbal communication, personal statements through body expression in the public sphere, all these encourage encounters around an artistic-political-personal discourse. We seek to promote the conversation and allow it to be held where it belongs, sharing it with a varied audience, in this magnificent middle-eastern market.

דיורמה היא מודל תלת-ממדי המציג את הנושא ברקע המדמה את סביבתו הטבעית. דיורמות מתוכננות כך שיצרו אשליה אופטית של רב-מפלסיות ועומק.
בשעת לילה מאוחרת מתעורר אדם מתרדמה עמוקה. הוא נעמד על רגליו ומחל, כמו מתוך חלום, למלא אחר משימות היום יום.האדם שייך ולא שייך לכל מקום ולכל עת. גופו סגור בין ארבעה קירות ותודעתו מהדהדת סביבו. האם האדם מעצב את החלל, או שמא ההיפך? כל צעד ומחווה משאירים חותם בעולמו.

פסטיבל ׳מיפו עד אגריפס׳

משנת 2014 מקיימת קבוצת המחול ק.ט.מ.ו.ן פסטיבל מחול עכשווי בשוק מחנה יהודה. כ-60 יצירות מקור ׳תלויות-מקום׳ הוצגו במהלך השנים ברחבי השוק, בבתי העסק ובבניינים הסובבים אותו.

מידי שנה מוזמנים יוצרים ישראלים ובינלאומיים להציג שלל אירועי קונספט לקהל הרחב. הפסטיבל מיצר חוויה חד פעמית, מקומית וייחודית בחיי הלילה של ירושלים. אירועי Dinner & A Show, ארועים בחללים אלטרנטיבים (חדרי מלון, גלריות, ברים ומסעדות פועלים), אירועי וידאו-דאנס ומופעים בפטיו של ‘בית אליאנס’ תחת כיפת השמיים ועוד…

בשוק מחנה יהודה מתקיים חיכוך גבוה ויומיומי בין אנשים מכל מגזרי האוכלוסיה. המתח התמידי הקיים במציאות הירושלמית – ישראלית, הופך את השוק למרחב פעולה פרפורמטיבית רלוונטי ומעורר השראה. תנועה, תקשורת לא-מילולית, אמירה אישית במרחב ציבורי באמצעות הגוף, כל אלו מעודדים מפגשים סביב שיח אמנותי – פוליטי – אישי, אותו אנו מבקשים לקיים ישירות במרחב בו הוא מתקיים, ולשתף בו קהלים רבים ומגוונים
