Wednesday at the Pop Up Club: We are happy to host the camels of Tel Aviv – the Camel Raiders.

For more than two decades, Haim Laroz has been producing amazing groove music – it started with maragai, through Turkish music and Arab groove, and in recent years it has also been joined by its electronic music under the name ‘Laroz Camel Rider’ with which he wanders among different stages in the world.
Now after decades of creating quality music of all colors and species, he is opening his new label together with the Tel Aviv duo and regular guests in the most absorbing positions in Tel Aviv – Funkamel. All with the aim of establishing a global ethnic and electronic family that will operate a map in Tel Aviv.

Laroz Camel Rider
It does not really matter what musical style you connect anyway. The music of Haim Laroz The main camel passed through your ears.
Among his many works, Rose produced an album, which he recorded and performed with Berry Sakharof during “Warm on the Moon”. He was a partner in producing Berger Sakharof’s “Negiot”. He participated in the recording of Assaf Amdursky’s first album. He founded the DESERT GROOVE project, combining electric and electronic music With roots from the Middle East, and collaborated with Idan Raichel, Kutiman, Yossi Fine, Ravid Kahalani and other prominent names.
In recent years, Roz has been focusing on the crowning glory – his electronic project for Rose Camel Rider with whom he travels the world. Now a moment after another booming EP that moves between Solomon’s DB and Dickson – to Roz landing with us in the new label is hotter than ever.

Funkamel
In the past two years, Moti Landesman and Neria Orbach, with their funky camel, have embarked on a journey to spread electronic oriental music in all its variety. Since then, they have played in several places abroad and at leading festivals and clubs in Israel, while playing ethnic music on low, high and deep beats combined with melodies from Maghreb to The Levant.
