Thu 26 April 2018 | 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Beit Tami - Merkaz Ba'alei Melaha Street 16, Tel Aviv,

Is feminism expressed differently between a feminist Jewish woman from Moroccan descent and a feminist Jewish woman from Polish descent? Is feminism strictly a left wing movement, or can one be a feminist and still vote for the Likkud and support the occupation? What is religious feminism?

Israel has one of the liveliest feminist communities in the world – with Many NGOs, dozens of active Facebook groups, annual events and demonstrations. Just like everything else in Israel, the feminist community is also home to many different opinions and arguments.

Do you want to hear about feminism in Israel? This event is for you.
During the evening we will host a panel of speakers who will discuss the main challenges Israeli feminists currently face, and introduce you to the many faces of the women in Israel.

This evening is organized by P.See (פוליטיקלי קוראת), a feminist news website and Facebook page. We are a grassroots organization for independent feminist journalism, with over 2000 contributing writers – women from all walks of life in Israel. We have over 40k followers on Facebook and very high engagement levels.

Continuing our significant activity and social impact in 5 years of volunteer based work, we are crowdfunding to take the organization to the next level, with investigative journalism, multimedia content, and content in English and Arabic.

Location: Beit Tami / Lev Aviv cultural center, Merkaz Baalei Melaacha st. 16, near Sheinkin.
