Lazer Dance is proud to present for the first time the “Israel Open Latin Championship”. In recent years we have witnessed a tremendous momentum in the competitive sector of Latin dance in Israel. The blessed process gave added value to these dances as a sport, apart from being social dances, improving professionalism and setting new goals for anyone who wished to develop beyond a hobby.
Beyond the experience and the challenge, one of the main goals of the current Latin Dance Organization in Israel – ICLDA is to hold four annual competitions while maintaining the standards required in all aspects – professional and technical – producing. The existence of four annual competitions will give our industry recognition as a sports sector, which will improve future budgets from the State for the promotion of sports and sports in Israel according to the rules of the Sports Administration and the recognition of an active athlete only for those who participate in four recognized competitions a year (01.09.17-31.08.18).
Laser Dance is a school with an impressive presence in each of the competitions held so far in Israel. In the past 4 years, with the development of the competitive industry in Israel, Laser Dance has set itself the goal of promoting and leading the Israeli sports industry. As a further step in this way, Laser Dance decided to produce a competition which will be one of the four competitions that are recognized for the purpose of recognizing active athletes in Israel.
The competition in Israel is a pre-World Salsa World Salsa Open competition. The winners of the competition in Israel will receive the right to represent Israel at the World Championships abroad, and efforts will be made to recruit sponsors and an additional list of prizes to be distributed among the winners.
The event will take place on Friday 31 August 2018 in Tel Aviv and will include several parts:
1. General rehearsals before the start of the show.
2. Audience entry.
3. Start a competition.
4. Distribution of prizes.
