Hello Jaffa peoples,
We have a wonderful treat for you this Monday night. We go back to the world of classical Arabic, as we take a tour of some of the great traditional music from the regions of Iraq and the Persian Gulf.
For the first time at the Anna Loulou, we welcome Sahra Layali, a unique trio who will take us on a musical tour of a region that was once so near, and today can seem so far. We will visit the works of greats such as Mohammad Abdo and the al-Kuwaitis, as we follow the elegant sounds of the oud and the gentle touch of the violin.
