Iogi comes to launch his debut album – the ceiling
Iogi (Yogev Glosman) began his career as a classical violinist, then joined the guitar and bass which is his main instrument today. In recent years he has toured the world with Idan Raichel and Iowa, and plays in Israel with Mercedes Band, Yoni Rechter, Tomer Yeshayahu, Amir Dadon and others. The album was recorded during a period of four months, in which he wrote and composed all the songs and played all the instruments, except for a few guests. The album was produced together with Noam Habkin (Nomok) and was released on the label Ron Tipes.
“Falling in love is a dramatic word that is best used as little as possible, but the symptoms suggest it may be the case: There are two main symptoms: 1. The desire to hear this album again and again, to be as much as possible within its delicate radiation field. Some, not most of them – all of them. ” (Ben Shalev, Haaretz, June 16, 18)
The song “Magic Trick” from the album entered the editors’ election at 88, and was played in the Galgalatz night playlist.

יוגי מגיע להשיק את אלבום הבכורה שלו – the ceiling
יוגי (יוגב גלוסמן) החל את דרכו ככנר קלאסי, לאחר מכן הצטרפו הגיטרה והבס שהיא הכלי המרכזי שלו עוד היום. בשנים האחרונות הסתובב בעולם בסיבובי הופעות עם עידן רייכל ואייווה, ובארץ מנגן בין היתר עם מרסדס בנד, יוני רכטר, תומר ישעיהו, אמיר דדון ועוד. האלבום הוקלט בתקופה של ארבעה חודשים, ובה כתב והלחין את כל השירים ומנגן על כל הכלים, פרט לכמה אורחים. האלבום הופק יחד עם נעם חבקין (נומוק), ויצא בלייבל רו טייפס.
“התאהבות היא מלה דרמטית שמוטב להשתמש בה כמה שפחות, אבל התסמינים מורים שזה עשוי להיות העניין. שני תסמינים עיקריים: 1. הרצון לשמוע את האלבום הזה שוב ושוב, להימצא כמה שיותר בתוך שדה הקרינה העדינה שלו. 2. ההנאה מכל השירים בו. לא חלקם, לא רובם — כולם.” (בן שלו, הארץ, (16.6.18)
השיר ״מג׳יק טריק״ מתוך האלבום נכנס לבחירות העורכים ב88, ונוגן בפלייליסט הלילה של גלגלצ.
