Generally held during Passover holiday, the International Yiddish Festival is a celebration of Yiddish traditional music. Yiddish speakers all over the world travel to Israel for this holiday celebration, listen to artists from all over the world sing in Yiddish as well as create new Yiddish songs. What’s so amazing about the International Yiddish Festival is that it features modern singers with modern music styles (Jazz, Pop, Techno and more) who sing in this ancient holy language. Live performers are giving intimate shows as they combine their Yiddish singing with their own personal stories, most of immigrating from one country to the other, as well as humorous acts and some good old Yiddish love songs.
