In the history of the State of Israel, the country has not experienced such drastic and significant changes as Israel has experienced in recent decades: the pace of construction, the addition of infrastructures and irreversible damage to open spaces in accelerated, short-sighted and lacking planning visions are unprecedented. And its landscape, its fauna and its historical and archeological heritage are in danger of being extirpated, not by an Iranian nuclear bomb or by an external enemy, but by unprecedented construction of its scope and inconsiderate of the country and its inhabitants.
Inadequate planning systems, accelerated and superficial processes created by the Planning and Building Department, and an urge to build at any cost create a problematic and irreversible planning reality in extensive urban spaces, which harms many residents and their quality of life and health.
In response to this phenomenon, dozens of organizations from Eilat, south of Israel, to the Golan Heights in the north, in the center of the country, such as its large cities, set up a goal to protect the country and its natural and historical values and act for a sane planning reality. Most of these networks operate under the media radar and are anonymous to the general public. But the struggle they lead has a tremendous impact on the image of our country and on the legacy we leave to our children and our grandchildren.

The conference aims to bring together the activists in the field with decision-makers and organizations working in the field, to provide tools in practical workshops, and in particular to inspire and provide tools for change!
