A little about what is expected of us:
Samba Rock is a Brazilian dance and music culture that combines samba with soul, rock
and punk. This culture broke out from the parties of the poor black communities in Sao Paulo, who were exposed to the rock culture and African-American music of the 50s.
The pioneers of the style were Tim Maia and Trio Mocot贸 who developed it from the popular Brazilian music of the 60’s when in the 2000’s its popularity increased and it became a real culture that includes artists from different fields such as dance, music, academia and more.
Transa Tropical is a samba rock band that invites us all to an evening full of Brazilian celebration and dancing.
