The last clean up was so successful… collecting over 5,000 cigarette butts, and over 500 straws! 15 full bags weighing in at 56 kilos! All of that in just 350 meters of beach. Way to go guys!
This month we will be cleaning the shikmona nature reserve! So come and join us and bring your friends!
We will meet in the parking area in front of the Israeli oceanographic institute … look for the blue shirts!

Why a swimsuit you ask?!
The wonderful organization @Mediterranean People ( אנשי הים התינון@ ) are hosting a full weekend of guided snorkels by professionals to introduce the public to the fascinating underwater world right off our own beaches. If you’ve never snorkeled around this area before you will be AMAZED at the amount of life and beautiful creatures residing just below the beaches we are cleaning. You might even get to see a sea turtle!
They are generous enough to offer a *FREE 30 minute snorkel* to anyone that helps in our clean up! (30nis offer otherwise) All snorkeling gear is provided, so just bring yourself and your water clothes!
This offer is redeemable only directly after our clean up, but the event is happening October 12-13, and 19-20, in various locations in Israel, if you want to join again with friends and family at another time.
Join us to help make that difference, little by little every bit counts, if we don’t clean it no one will! These are the small steps we take that make a BIG difference in the long run. Don’t miss out!!!
