Israeli-born Hagar Levy moved to Antwerp, Belgium, at the age of one, where she spent the first 15 years of her life. Music, and mostly the piano, has always been her tool to find release as well as an authentic identity and voice.
Hagar’s lyrics, melodies and harmonies are deeply influenced by female rockers and neo-soul pioneers such as Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Erykah Badu, Sade, Jill Scott and Alicia Keys.
Her debut album was released in 2015 and received warm reviews both in Israel and worldwide.
Hagar’s latest project is a live session with three singles which became highlights at solo- and band shows in the past year.
