The band Gunned Down Horses is taking it up a notch and returns to Tel-Aviv with its biggest production in Israel so far – an international indie music festival.

The Israeli band, which is known for its grandiose musicality and uncompromising kamikazee performance, was also chosen last year to open for rock legend Deep Purple on the Russian leg of their farewell tour, played in 12 countries as well as in all of Israel’s major festivals (InDnegev, Tune In Tel-Aviv, Solow, Yearot Menashe and more), won Radio Ze-Rock’s song of the year and now collected the best bands with which it shared stages across europe with and brought them to The Zone in Tel-Aviv, straight from Iceland, The Netherlands, Germany and of course Israel.

The festival wishes to bring the struggle against domestic violence and sexual abuse, a problem which escalates lately with the rise of social media, to the center of attention. For this purpose the band will launch on this occasion Turtle Doves – a single in transformed into a children’s book, which all of the income from its sales will go the help center for victims of sexual abuse in Haifa, the band’s hometown.
