Gunned Down Horses, the Haifa based band that dominated Russian stadiums as the exclusive opening act for Deep Purple, presents a worldwide acknowledged captivating and unique act. It brings groundbreaking music and a rare interaction between a band and its audiences all around Europe and Israel. Dark Cabaret Rock meets old western’s soundtracks; Fellini and Tarantino, Faith No More and Nick Cave, all fuse into Haifa’s underground and out to the world, portraying a unique impulsive adventurous sound.
Festivals in Israel 2018 – InDnegev (Elephant stage), Tune-In Tel-Aviv, Haifa’s SoLow (main stage) and Heads Up festival in Jerusalem.
The band’s latest single, Tonight She Takes Berlin, was played and talked about in many major Israeli media platforms (Galatz, Reshet 13, Yedioth Aharonoth and many more). The single was also voted by Ze-Rock Radio’s listeners as Israeli “Song of the Year”.
So far the band played in 12 different countries and on September 2018 the band set off to Iceland to record in Greenhouse Studios (Bjork, Sigur Ros, Kanye West). The new production titled “Gunned Down, Stripped Down, Unplugged” brings with it an uncompromising taste of the Icelandic chill and the desert’s sizzle.
