The Groove Ambassadors (Shagrirey Hagroov) its a band composed of musicians from different cultures. Founded by the Ivorian Elisee Akowendo in 2009, the group worked with musicians coming from all over the word: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, France, Ivory Coast, Israel, Brazil, Russia, etc to compose the songs and to be the group as it is today.
Playing different Africans rhythms and songs. They are singing in more than 10 languages; native African dialects such as Swahili (from Kenya), Lingala (from Congo), Baoule (from Ivory Coast), Zulu (South Africa), as well as in French, English, Portuguese and Hebrew.
The messages the Groove tranceforms are Peace, Love, Respect, God, Greatfulness and Joy of roup tranLife, serving it in a warm funky cocktail of Afro Beat, High Life, Reggae, Makossa, Sukuss, Gospel, Coupe Decale, Latin… in an African way.
