AMAZING PANEL PARTICIPANTS

Tel Aviv University

Nora Meissner – Nora is originally from German and is an alumna of the MA in Migration Studies at Tel Aviv University.  She is currently starting her fourth year of her PhD in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Her research deals with migration decision-making amongst the young and highly skilled from Israel and Turkey to Germany.

Lena Bliman – Originally from Saint Petersburg, Russia, Lena is an alum of the MA in Security and Diplomacy at Tel Aviv University. She holds a BA and MA degree from Russia and the US. Just before graduating TAU, she was offered a position at TAU International as a Student Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator. She’s passionate to share her experiences with prospective students and help them discover what she loves about the TAU International community.


IDC

Karen Yoseph – Karen is originally from Orange County California and came to Israel in 2008, spent 3 years in the IDF and finished as a First Lieutenant. Karen studied her bachelors in government at the IDC and then did her masters in counter-terrorism and homeland security. Today, Karen is proud to be a part of the RRIS team at IDC for over 4 years, and is excited to speak to anyone interested in our English programs!


Bar Ilan University

Madina Telkhozhayeva – Madina is originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan. She holds a BSc and a MSc in Chemistry from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Currently, she is a 3rd year PhD candidate at Bar-Ilan University. She was a visiting student at the Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy) within the scope of the ICM Erasmus+ program. Her research focuses on the synthesis and advanced characterization of 1D and 2D nanostructures for their possible application in electronics and optoelectronics.


University of Haifa

Rachel Ben Eli – Rachel is originally from the United States and has been living in Haifa for the past seven years. After completing her service in the Israeli Navy International Affairs Branch, she began working at the University of Haifa International School. During this time, she also completed her MA in National Security Studies, one of the University of Haifa’s international graduate programs.
