Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls. How do we get there?

Gender equality touches all aspects of our lives, and achieving it requires gender-equality, men’s and women’s engagement, working together for a good future for all of us.
The Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs, present a compass, guidelines for implementation in many areas: politics, representation and legislation, policy, financial education, land ownership, access to technological know-how and more to help achieve gender equality.
In the upcoming SDG Israel community event we will dive into goal 5 of 17

Why is it important for all of us to recognize?
In 2015, the United Nations set 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030. These goals are designed to create a prosperous, equitable, safe, peaceful and healthier world for all. Such as: climate crisis, clean water and sanitation, quality education, zero hunger, poverty, infrastructure and innovation, renewable energies, and gender equality.

It is important for us to create an open and welcoming discourse where men and women talk together about what gender equality is, for us and open to everyone.
