Kuli Alma 10 Mikve Israel, Tel Aviv
Gal Toren, lead singer Mercedes Band and Guy Levy , The contrabass player, creator of the children’s project “Songs for Amalia”, the project “Penn” and “Gesher” are also childhood friends who shared unforgettable moments at the age of 6 in the Jerusalem area.
Both come from different regions of the music world; Gal’s powerful rock n ‘roll as opposed to Guy’s jazz and groove, and the result – an album of new Israeli music, a Groovy harmonious journey into romance and the existential question.
Some of the songs of the project have been exposed recently, in a different version, when the two joined forces in writing soundtrack to the highly acclaimed series “Uri and Ella,” but they have not yet been published in their original form.

גל תורן, סולן להקת מרסדס בנד, ואחד השחקנים היותר עסוקים על המסך בשנים האחרונות, וגיא לוי, נגן הקונטרבס, יוצר פרויקט הילדים “שירים לעמליה”, פרויקט “פן” ו”הגשר” הם גם חברי ילדות אשר חלקו רגעים בלתי נשכחים עוד בגיל 6 באזור ירושלים.
שניהם מגיעים מאזורים שונים של עולם המוזיקה; הרוקנרול העוצמתי של גל לעומת עולם הג’אז והגרוב של גיא, והתוצאה – אלבום של מוזיקה ישראלית חדשה, מסע הרמוני גרובי אל תוך הרומנטיקה והשאלה הקיומית.
חלק משירי הפרויקט כבר נחשפו לאחרונה, בגרסה שונה, כשהשניים שילבו כוחות בכתיבת פס הקול לסדרה עתירת השבחים “אורי ואלה”, אך הם טרם התפרסמו בצורתם המקורית.
