Join us for an in-depth conversation with MK Dr. Nachman Shai from the Labor Party, facilitated by Walla News political correspondent Tal Shalev. MK Shai will discuss recent security issues as well as the upcoming elections. How do the recent security events have a connection to the upcoming elections? Why have elections been called early? What is the Labor Party’s position on these issues?

The event will be followed by an open Q&A.

About MK Dr. Nachman Shai:
Dr. Nachman Shai has been serving in the Knesset since 2009. He previously served as the IDF Spokesperson, Press Secretary of the Israeli delegation to the UN, Commander and Chief Editor of Army Radio and the Chairman of Channel 2 News. Since his election to the Knesset he has served on a variety of committees which currently include the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and the Committee on the Status of Women and Gender Equality. Dr. Shai holds a BA in General History and Political Science and an MA in Communications, graduating cum laude from The Hebrew University, as well as a Ph.D. in Communications and Political Science from Bar-Ilan University.
