Meet the leaders of the Israeli economy and innovation world in a 1: 1 FIRESIDE CHAT conversation with senior executives at bars across the country as part of the Innovation on the Bar series on an evening of reciprocal questions that will join your questions.

Each of the sessions will deal with a different aspect of Israeli innovation.

And at this meeting, Ania Alden, VP of Innovation Authority and Head of Startup, will meet with Ofra Strauss, Chairman of Strauss Group, for a dense conversation about the FOODTECH revolution.

A little about the people you will meet at the bar:

Ofra Strauss Chairman of the Strauss Elite Group since 2001. The Strauss Group is the largest global food and beverage company among Israeli-owned companies. By 2018, Ms. Strauss served as President of Jasmine’s Association for the Advancement of Small and Medium-Sized Business Owned by Women of All Sectors, as well as Chair of the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce. Her past positions include the Chairman of the Maale organization, which promotes corporate responsibility in Israel, a member of the Jewish Agency Board of Trustees and more.

Ania Alden, VP of Innovation Authority and Head of the Startup Arena, has 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry, venture capital and technological entrepreneurship, and has proven experience in private and public fundraising. In her last position, Alden has managed Digital Health Companies and was a partner in the venture capital fund Platinum is the arena in which it leads many support paths to encourage entrepreneurship in various sectors, such as the incubator program, start-up companies fund and innovation labs.
