Throughout history, the design of toys expressed aesthetic and moral values, supported by tradition, by available production-means and local raw materials. The diversity of the culture and ideology was reflected in authentic designs of playthings as well as by folk variations of universal archetypes of toys.

From Rags to Apps Conference aims to highlight the conceptual roots, the visions and the design and development processes, leading to the creation of toys.

The third Shenkar International Toy Design Conference will host speakers from selected companies, academics, entrepreneurs and creators that will expand the boundaries of the debate focusing on toys.
