Beit Hanna - Ben Gurion 75, Tel Aviv,

The exhibition is located at this moment when an artist has to deal honestly with basic questions about the medium in which he works – what is his relevance? What are his new boundaries? What is its validity in view of the radical changes in the experience of reality? At the same time, another question arises: how can we experience art in a direct, captivating, sensual way in a real time and space?

In the “Face” exhibition, Dor is not looking for answers to the questions of the medium but is examining its boundaries with a certain irony within the existing framework. The intention is to talk about photography within the agreed boundaries, without a struggle to breach its boundaries. The term face is a metaphor for the measurement of bodies having a common denominator on one surface.

Face The front part of the head from the forehead to the chin, where the eyes, nose and mouth are located.
