The Gay Center - Gan Meir, Tel Aviv,

Israel goes to the polls on Tuesday 9th April to elect the country’s 21st Knesset. This upcoming election will determine Israel’s future direction and it’s important that we, as LGBTQ olim, have our voices heard! Israel is falling behind on LGBTQ rights (marriage, adoption, surrogacy, hate-crime protection, etc.) and we also need to ensure that our existing rights are protected.

We invite you to join us at the Tel Aviv LGBTQ Center at 20:00 on Monday 1st April to:
– gain a deeper understanding of the Israeli democratic process
– hear from Knesset Members about their parties’ positions on a number of LGBTQ and non-LGBTQ issues
– learn what they will do if they form the next government

Party representatives will include:
– Anat Nir (Meretz)
– Idan Roll (Chachol Lavan)
– Merav Ben Ari (Kulanu)
This event is not being sponsored by any specific political party.
