Hannah Chizik, pioneer, leader, political activist, farmer, educator, feminist, one of the founders of the Labor Party and a senior figure in the Jewish Yishuv prior to the establishment of the State of Israel, established the North Workers’ Center in the early 1930s, Hana”.

In her memory, we will host four women pioneers in their fields to discuss their journey, the challenges, the determination and the desire to create a different reality. Four stories that reflect Hanna’s work and vision

They will share their stories with us:
Daphne Leaf – social activist and political leader of the social protest.
Ruti Russo – Journalist and researcher of the Israeli culinary tradition.
Orna Barbibai – the first champion in the IDF.
Irit Dolev – founder of the independent newspaper “The Hottest Place in Hell”.

During the evening, excerpts from Hannah’s writings will be read by actress Yevgenia Dodina.
The evening will be moderated by Michal Graf, Chana Chizik’s great-granddaughter
