With local and international success, a worldwide career during which she released two albums and an English EP, Esther Rada comes out with her first album In Hebrew. In the new show, the first songs will be played in Hebrew alongside the favorite hits from previous albums, from the tribute project to Nina Simone and more.
For years, Rada has been considered a prominent musician, and has a rare talent for writing, composing and singing, in hypnotic stage charisma and courage to stretch boundaries and explore new creative territories.
The new album written by Esther Rada and composed, produced and processed by gifted musician Tomer Bar; And the two create a fascinating meeting point between the Groove and Sol identified with Rada Jazz that brings a bar from home, in addition to their appreciation of nostalgic Israeli classics. This is a unique combination of worlds that is expressed in the songs and on the stage, on which Esther comes up with a new composition.
Although English is so natural to her and brought her to world recognition, media interest and many touring tours overseas, Rada waited for the right time to come out with original materials in Hebrew, which naturally brings her closer to the local audience. But this is not a one-way street. One of the things that characterizes Rada and her creativity is the ability to touch and be present in several worlds in parallel – from the stage of the Berlin Jazz Club to the local indie festival with an electronic performance or to the stage of a cultural hall with the Philharmonic Orchestra behind it. In all of these faces, Esther Rada’s unique fingerprint is preserved – a powerful feminine voice full of groove, love and the ability to connect and open the heart.
